About Us
We are family run Pizza & Seafood restaurant and Bed & Breakfast called The Coast Lodge.
Where we are. The Coast Lodge is situated directly opposite the Atlantic ocean at Spanish Point beach. All of the rooms look out either onto the beautiful wild waves or onto the picturesque Spanish Point golf course.
We are located just four minutes drive from the pretty and welcoming town of Miltown Malbay – famous for its traditional Irish music.
We do accommodation. All of our rooms and self-catering units are en-suite and furnished to the highest levels of comfort and style.
We do great food. Our award winning chef prepares a varied menu using the freshest local seafood, seasonal vegetables, local cheeses and organic meat. Pop by for breakfast, lunch, dinner or a light bite.
We do chilled out drinks. Our cosy, modern restaurant features a wide variety of wines and beers. Our outdoor seated terrace is the perfect spot to enjoy an evening drink as you watch the sun go down over the ocean waves.
We do relaxation. Our warm and spacious rooms are fitted out with king size beds, big comfy couches, and feature stunning views of the West Clare landscape and coastline. We also often offer relaxation packages, perfect for restful breaks, pampering weekends or for just taking a bit of ‘me time’.
We do adventure. If you’re looking for something a bit more fast-paced, The Coast Lodge is a perfect choice too! Spanish Point beach, with its beautiful, powerful waves is superb for surfing. We are located right next to Spanish Point Golf Course, and there are numerous walking and cycling trails close by. We also organise adventure and wellness breaks throughout the year.
